REINTERPRETATION
The company was founded in 2025 by Linda Pawson. Initially, the idea was to start a ‘funky junk’ store where affordable bespoke furniture could be sold. After inheriting a hoarder’s paradise, Linda set out to change the way Interior Design is seen. It was a collaboration that merged the worlds of art and interiors, and one that encourages us to slow down and think more meaningfully about the pieces we choose for our home: the craft, skill and materials that go into making them, as well as the past lives and stories that exist within them. After being reinterpreted, the pieces are now available for sale at ar•ti•facts. To be assured future lives, in the homes of whoever is lucky enough to own them.
